HOW I WORK
I work with you to find authentic ways to create relevant and meaningful change.
In a safe and confidential space, you can talk and reflect on the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that impact your well-being.
I have a warm, interpersonal style, and using a psychodynamic approach, I draw on a variety of theories and frameworks. My work is mostly informed by object relations theory, attachment theory, and systems theory.
Individual therapy provides an opportunity for an intensive focus on you and usually requires a greater frequency of sessions and a longer time commitment. Throughout your therapy, there are many opportunities for you to discuss any concerns or questions you have about our work together.
Couple and Relationship work usually focuses on working through a particular problem that is affecting connection and cohesiveness within the couple or family unit. In this work, we take a look at a range of influences that may impact the functioning of the relationship. Regular sessions are scheduled, and our work is frequently reviewed to ensure identified goals are being met.
My fees are not eligible for Health fund or Medicare rebates.
Most sessions are conducted face-to-face in a clinical setting. In some circumstances, I provide online sessions for individual work.
